We now know only how much time we will spend firing the shots but the time to kill will depend on how far the target is and how fast our bullets are. Now we need to take shots to kill and multiply by the time it takes to fire each shot so for example 5 shots to kill areĥ * 0.08955 = 0.4477 seconds to fire 5 shots.īut this isnt the final value. So 60 / 670 = 0.08955 seconds to fire one bullet (somehow that seems high but it is the correct calculation)īut as you suggest dividing 60 seconds by the rate of fire doesnt give is bullets per second but how many seconds its takes to fire one bullet, which seems like a useful value. To get bullets per second need to divide ROF by amount of seconds in one minute
